Mercor is recruiting UK-based Data Engineering experts for a short, intensive project with a globally leading AI lab. You will produce professional documents and deliverables typical of your day-to-day data engineering work, collaborating on a UK business-hours rhythm. Your professional judgments will be used to build tasks, rubrics, and training data to evaluate frontier AI models.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce professional technical documents and deliverables based on real-world data engineering workflows.Collaborate alongside multi-domain experts on a UK business-hours rhythm to shape training data for next-generation AI systems.Key Requirements & Tech StackLocation & Eligibility: Must be based in the United Kingdom and have the right to work in the UK.Experience & Titles: Hands-on data engineers who build and own pipelines in production—titles include Data Engineer, Senior/Staff Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, Data Platform Engineer, and Data Architect.Core Stack: Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with hands-on experience across ETL/ELT, data warehousing, orchestration, and streaming using tools like Spark, Kafka, Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks on AWS, GCP, or Azure.Project Timeline & CommitmentTimeline: 40 hours per week running from September 14 to October 10, 2026.Commitment: Full-time dedication during project dates (not compatible with other significant concurrent projects).Vetting ProcessResume and work history screen.A short assessment evaluating domain expertise.Complete the Screening Promptly: Submit your resume and complete the domain assessment early to secure your spot for this intensive UK-based AI engineering project.Comment below or check the link in comments! 👇(Note: Use referral name Amit Sharma for priority screening.)
