Job Description – Audio Transcription SpecialistProject:ASR Validation & Transcription ( Odia)About the RoleWe are looking for detail-orientedSTT Transcription Annotatorsto support an ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition) Validation and QC project. The role involves listening to audio, reviewing ASR-generated transcripts, identifying and correcting transcription errors, and ensuring the final output follows project-specific transcription and annotation guidelines.Freshers with strong language and listening skills are also encouraged to apply. Prior transcription or annotation experience is preferred but not mandatory.Key ResponsibilitiesListen to audio recordings and validate the corresponding ASR-generated transcripts.Correct transcription errors while maintaining verbatim speech and the natural flow of conversation.Accurately capture hesitations, repetitions, stutters, disfluencies, false starts and speech errors.Identify and appropriately handle speaker changes, overlapping speech and unclear audio.Follow project-specific segmentation, tagging, formatting and transcription guidelines.Handle code-switching between English and Indian languages as per project guidelines.Maintain high accuracy and consistency while meeting productivity targets.Participate ibration, internal QC and feedback/remediation activities.Ensure all assigned work is completed within defined timelines and quality standards.Required Skills0–2 years of experience otation, data labeling, linguistic QA or related work.Freshers with excellent listening and language skills can apply.Strong command of the assigned language and good English comprehension.Excellent listening and reading skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle transcription errors.Ability to follow detailed instructions and process guidelines consistently.Comfortable working with web-based transcription/annotation tools.Ability to work independently in a Work From Home environment.Good typing skills and accuracy are preferred.Work From Home RequirementsCandidate must have their own laptop/desktop system suitable for the project.Stable and reliable internet connection is required.Candidate should have a quiet working environment suitable for audio listening and transcription.Ability to work remotely and meet daily productivity and quality expectations.If you are passionate about language, have strong listening skills, and are looking for a remote project opportunity, we encourage you to apply.
