Role Summary
The Panel Manager / Sample Operations Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of panel and sample operations, ensuring timely, high-quality, and scalable delivery of sample for both sample-only and full-service market research projects. This role is critical to protecting sample revenue, delivery quality, and client satisfaction, while enabling senior leadership and project teams to focus on strategic and high-value activities.
Mandatory requirements:
- 2-6 years of experience with managed panel sample and marketplace sample
- 2-6 years managing market research clients providing online sample
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of sample projects, including feasibility assessment, panel and supplier selection, quota setup, and fieldwork monitoring.
- Coordinate multiple simultaneous sample projects with tight timelines and changing priorities.
- Proactively identify and resolve fieldwork risks such as low incidence, quota imbalances, and drop-off rates.
- Manage and optimize relationships with external panel and sample providers.
- Evaluate supplier performance across feasibility, pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure sample quality standards, including targeting accuracy, quota compliance, and fraud prevention.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all panel and sample-related requests.
- Collaborate closely with full-service project teams, sales teams, and finance.
- Support invoicing, reconciliation, and supplier cost management.
- Document and improve sample sourcing processes to support scalability and efficiency.
