The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, experience with complex SQL queries, and is eager to learn and grow within a data-driven environment.Specifically, here are some things you’ll be working on:Collaborate with business teams to turn client requirements into scriptsTroubleshoot client reporting issues and work on improvements for future reportsPerform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in the dataWrite, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries from various databasesPerform cross DB system checks and migrationsResearch and document report generation processes, data sources, and methodologies for transparency and future referenceBuild and maintain robust data models and schemas that support client reporting and internal dashboard functionalities (Tableau/Looker/Python Scripts)What are the must-haves we’re looking for:At least 3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Data EngineerStrong SQL skills (experience with complex queries/multi join/CTEs/window functions a must)Hands-on experience with Python for data manipulation, analysis, and scriptingGood communication skills, with the ability to present data findings clearlyStrong organizational skills, attention to details and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to data-driven decision-makingExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsExperience with distributed query engines (hive/presto/trino/bigquery)Familiarity with analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Tableau, Looker)Willingness and ability to work 3:30pm-12:30am IST, or overlap at least 4 hours with East Coast U.S. work hoursWhat are the nice-to-haves we’re looking for:Exposure to DevOps tools including JIRA, Git, Docker, and Alluxio is a plusLocation & Hours:Can work remotely anywhere in IndiaHours: 3:30pm-12:30am IST (ending at 2pm ET)Comp Structure & Benefits:Comp structure: fixed (inclusive of PF, Gratuity, and a 25k INR medical premium) + a target annual bonus that is approximately 5% of the gross annual earnings.
