Requirements and responsibilities


The Technical Product Manager (TPM) is responsible for assisting with identification of new products and for the planning, development, and launch of new products. The PM will work closely with engineering, marketing, and sales to ensure that products are aligned with business objectives, and meet customer needs.ResponsibilitiesAssist with product and market research to identify unmet customer needs and new customer segmentsDevelop and execute product roadmaps that align with the company's overall business strategyWrite requirements and provide a clear visionWork closely with open source partners and third parties for comarketing, cooperation, and product alignmentUnderstand and improve existing products over timeCollaborate with marketing and sales teams to launch new products and generate demandSet metrics and measure product performance and usage data to identify areas for improvementStay up-to-date on the latest software development trends and technologiesQualificationsExperience with enterprise and commercial adoption of open source softwareBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or similar experience5+ years of experience in product management or a related roleStrong understanding of the software development processProven track record of delivering successful productsExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamOther Job DetailsTime zone requirements: Working hours must overlap with US Mountain Time for at least 4 hours dailyAt HeroDevs, we believe in the power of diversity, equity, and inclusion to drive innovation, creativity, and success.
