JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Title: Solutions Lead, DevelopmentPOSITION SUMMARYThe Solutions Lead, Development is responsible for providing technical leadership across complex MES/MOM and digital manufacturing implementations. This role leads development strategy, ensures code quality, mentors development resources, and partners cross-functionally to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions for clients. The Solutions Lead serves as both a hands-on senior developer and a technical authority, guiding architecture decisions, enforcing standards, and supporting enterprise-level deployments across manufacturing environments.GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITYRole duties include:Technical Leadership & OversightLead software development efforts across MES/MOM implementationsProvide technical guidance, architecture oversight, and development standards enforcementEnsure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code deliveryConduct code reviews and validate adherence to SDLC best practicesExtend object and logic models based on detailed technical designsProvide senior-level development for complex implementationsDevelopment & Solution DeliveryDevelop and customize MES solutions (Opcenter/Camstar)UI design and development (Web Application and/or Portal Studio)Interface development (CIO / Camstar Interoperability / integration services)Custom programming (C#, .NET, ASP.NET, SQL, Web Services)Assist in preparation and execution of system integration and acceptance testingDeliver upgrades and enhancements to existing client environmentsTroubleshoot and resolve advanced customer issuesReproduce issues in-house when necessary for testing and validationFactory Modeling & Platform ExpertiseProvide guidance on factory modeling best practices (hierarchies, CVEs, object modeling)Extend and maintain factory models using Designer toolsImplement and maintain integrations using CIO and WCF/.NET APIsSupport Enterprise Platform AdministrationMaintain and grow Opcenter platform expertise across Modeler, Designer (Professional), System Developer, Integration, Solution Technical LeadCustomer & Cross-Functional EngagementGather and validate detailed development requirementsTranslate business requirements into technical executionProvide superior customer support (internal & external)Support consulting and training teams during engagementsAssist with SOW scoping and effort estimation where requiredInfluence executive-level stakeholders on technical directionTeam Mentorship & Knowledge ManagementMentor and support developers across the organizationProvide technical training and onboarding guidanceContribute to internal knowledgebase and forumsEnsure proper documentation of development workMaintain and improve SOPs related to development practicesOther DutiesAs assigned on a project basisTravel RequiredThis is a remote position. In addition, it will be aligned with local market data and structured in accordance with regional employment standards.Final compensation will be determined based on:Relevant experience and platform proficiencyMarket data for the geographic regionScope of responsibilityCertifications and specialized expertiseIn addition to base salary this position may be eligible for:Annual performance-based bonus (per company policy)Benefits package consistent with company offeringsProfessional development and certification support
