Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:Developing brand architecture, positioning, strategy and messaging frameworks; championing the strategy from inception through execution of creative workDrafting creative briefs, strategic POVs and presentationsUnderstanding clients' business, target audiences and factors relevant to the brand's growthAnalyzing research, data and trends, and synthesizing into insights and strategic directionCreating comprehensive, competitive reviews and situational analysesBriefing and collaborating with teams across creative and communications planningLeading client-facing ideation and brainstorming sessions, with supportStaying up to date on consumer research, market trends and industry news, and sharing findings with teams and clientsWhat We’re Looking For:4 years of experience in a strategic role; agency experience requiredAnalytical and creative problem-solving mindset; also comfortable in ambiguity and able to form strategic hypotheses with minimal but sufficient informationStrong research skills and some experience with:Desk research: sourcing and applying secondary research such as reports, statistics and articles to develop creative strategiesResearch design: writing survey questionnaires and/or interview discussion guides; determining appropriate methodologies to meet objectivesSyndicated research: experience with social listening tools a plus, but not requiredExceptional writing skills, with a command of nuance and artful editing with brevityClear and precise communicator, curious and receptive listenerStrong presentation skillsGeneralist collaborator who can work well alongside creatives, public relations, social media strategists and communications plannersAbility to clearly and concisely present and support viewpoints with sound rationale—balancing the confidence to voice informed perspectives with the humility to reconsider when wrong.LocationThis position can function remotely with occasional travel for team or client meetings.About the CompanyArcher is a 70-year-old startup resolved to make the complex simple, and the simple exceptional.
