Podcast Pros is seeking an independent Sales / Business Development Specialist whose primary mission is to close new client engagements, converting qualified prospects into signed Stage 1 Onboarding Agreements and Stage 2 Membership Agreements. This is a pure closing role with unlimited earning potential for those who perform. This position is governed by the Podcast Pros Independent Sales Contractor Agreement. Functions: Deal Closing & Revenue Generation — Primary Function: - Close qualified prospects into signed Stage 1 Podcast Launch Onboarding Agreements with cleared $5,000 payments. - Drive Stage 2 Membership Agreement conversions (Plan 1 Prepay & Save, Plan 2 Pay Monthly). - Manage full sales cycle from qualified lead to executed agreement and confirmed payment. - Conduct compelling discovery calls and tailored sales presentations. - Accurately represent all services, pricing, terms, and deliverables. - Meet monthly Closed Deal quota requirements; shortfall carries over to following month. - Maintain minimum 5 qualified prospects in active pipeline (post Month 1 ramp). Prospecting & Pipeline Development: - Independently develop pipeline of qualified B2B prospects (no Company-provided lead reliance). - Leverage LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other tools to identify, engage, and qualify ICP — CEOs, founders, thought leaders B2B service. - Collaborate with the marketing team on lead generation campaigns and inbound lead handoff. - Research prospects thoroughly before outreach. - Follow up within 24 hours on all inbound and outbound leads — without exception. - Qualify prospects against ICP before pipeline advancement. HubSpot CRM Management & Reporting: - Maintain accurate, complete, up-to-date records in HubSpot at all times. - Log all communications, calls, and deal updates same business day. - Utilize deal stages, pipelines, and contact properties for full visibility. - Submit comprehensive weekly pipeline report every Friday. - Monitor personal conversion rates per funnel stage and corrective action. - Track lead sources and attribution. - Provide leadership honest data-driven forecasts. Requirements: - Native or near-native English (single most important — represents PodcastPros to C-suite/founder prospects). - 3-5 years pure closing role — B2B consultative, SaaS, or professional services. - Independent Contractor experience — proven self-directed. - HubSpot CRM proficiency (pipeline management, deal tracking, reporting). - LinkedIn Sales Navigator experience (prospecting, outreach, qualification). - Consistently meeting/exceeding monthly deal quotas in commission environment. - Strong consultative selling skills (uncover needs, build urgency, close on value). - Excellent verbal and written communication (confident, persuasive presentation). - Self-directed with extreme accountability (no hand-holding, no lead generation support). - Resilient mindset (manage rejection, maintain momentum, pipeline discipline). - Startup environment experience. - Service company background. - Acceptance of clawback provisions and 12-month non-compete/non-solicitation and 3-year confidentiality. Bonus Points: - Selling podcast production / content marketing / thought leadership / media services. - B2B authority positioning, client acquisition, relationship-based selling. - HubSpot Sales Hub certification. - B2B sales methodologies (Challenger, SPIN, MEDDIC, equivalent). - Video-based sales presentations (Zoom). - Marketing automation and outbound sales integration knowledge. - Strong analytical mindset (interpret conversion metrics).
