We've been fully remote for over a decade and are building the tools that power the future of distributed work.We're now investing heavily in AI, automation, and signal-driven go-to-market systems to accelerate growth beyond our traditional inbound motion.This is a rare opportunity to become Hubstaff's first GTM Automation Engineer and build this function from the ground up.Working closely with leaders across Marketing, Sales, Revenue Operations, and Customer Success, you'll design the automation, AI workflows, and GTM systems that power outbound growth, account-based marketing, and revenue generation.If you enjoy building from scratch, experimenting with emerging AI technologies, and creating measurable business impact, you'll have the opportunity to shape both our growth strategy and the future of this function at Hubstaff.What You'll DoBuild and Scale Signal-Based GTM SystemsDesign and operationalize workflows that transform product usage, intent, hiring, firmographic, and behavioral signals into automated sales and marketing actionsBuild repeatable systems that identify, prioritize, and engage target accounts at the right timeCreate scalable triggers that improve targeting, personalization, and pipeline generationOwn Outbound and Account-Based InfrastructureBuild account identification, enrichment, scoring, segmentation, and orchestration systemsImprove outbound efficiency through automation, data enrichment, and intelligent targetingPartner closely with Marketing and Sales to create scalable, always-on outbound motionsDesign AI-Powered Automation WorkflowsBuild AI-assisted workflows for account research, prioritization, enrichment, routing, and personalizationLeverage tools such as Claude Code, AI Studio, ChatGPT, and emerging agent frameworks to increase GTM efficiency and effectivenessEvaluate and implement new technologies that improve automation, targeting, and revenue generationDrive GTM ExperimentationRapidly test new ICPs, messaging strategies, engagement channels, and orchestration modelsLaunch experiments, measure outcomes, and iterate based on performanceHelp shape Hubstaff's long-term approach to AI-powered go-to-market executionWhat We're Looking ForMust-Haves5+ years of experience in GTM Engineering, Growth Operations, Revenue Operations, Marketing Operations, Sales Operations, or a similar technical GTM roleExperience building and deploying automation workflows that drive measurable business outcomesStrong HubSpot experience, including workflows, integrations, custom objects, and automation architectureExperience with AI-assisted workflows, automation platforms, and agent-based systemsExperience with outbound, ABM, demand generation, or revenue growth motionsAbility to connect APIs, systems, and data sources using low-code, no-code, or light-code solutionsStrong systems-thinking mindset and ability to work across Marketing, Sales, Success, Product, and Data teamsExcellent communication skills and comfort working with both technical and business stakeholdersNice to HavesExperience with Clay, Common Room, Apollo, 6sense, Lemlist, Outreach, Salesloft, or similar GTM platformsExperience with agentic workflow tools such as Claude Code, n8n, AI Studio, or similar automation frameworksBasic scripting experience in Python, JavaScript, SQL, or APIsExperience in PLG SaaS or hybrid PLG + sales-assisted SaaS environmentsExperience building GTM systems from scratch in startup or growth-stage companiesCompensation & BenefitsThe compensation range for this position is $110,000–$140,000 USD annually.
