About the roleThis is a remote, full-time hourly position, and we are looking for candidates who can start immediately.This Remote Medical Assistant role will support the execution of workflows and operational processes that enable Generator Health to fulfill its mission of expediting access to critical medications. This work involves direct interaction with systems and procedures that affect the experience of both patients and providers.This is a role that requires quickly learning and applying complex operational processes. You will tackle operational hurdles within the healthcare space, gaining the specialized knowledge required to drive efficiency and quality. You will also regularly engage in real-world, intricate scenarios around prescription access and coordination.If you join, you will:Immerse yourself in complex, medical workflows, and directly interface with patients and providersBe part of the team that ensures that administrative friction never stands in the way of access to life-changing therapiesBecome an expert in the complex world of medication access & affordability. You will work with doctors' offices, insurance companies, affordability programs, and pharmacies to help get prescriptions processed efficientlyMaster proprietary software tools to execute operational workflows efficiently while continuously adapting and optimizing processesBuild an understanding of how AI is applied to workflows across healthcareWe’ll be most excited if you:Have experience in a healthcare operations role that includes prior authorization work (e.g. medical assistant, pharmacy technician) or have demonstrated strong performance across pre-med courseworkHave experience in a role that requires operational rigor and outcome ownershipKnow how to deal with ambiguous problems and effectively resolveAble to master new complex technology tools quickly and work with dataOur salary ranges are based on a number of factors, including qualifications, experience level, and geography.Generator Health is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender,
