We're looking for a Strategic Finance & Business Operations Lead to help run the Mexico business. This person will own financial planning and performance management, drive strategic decision-making, and lead high-impact operational initiatives across the company. They will serve as a key thought partner to the Mexico leadership team, helping translate data into action and ensuring the business executes against its most important priorities.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-ownership environments and wants to play a meaningful role in shaping strategy, improving performance, and helping build a category-defining fintech in Mexico.How You'll Make an ImpactOwn the Mexico financial plan: annual budget, quarterly updates, rolling forecasts, and long-range planning across all business linesDefine and track the KPIs that connect financial outcomes to operational executionDevelop scalable reporting frameworks and dashboards that give country and company leadership real-time visibility into business health and emerging risksAnalyze portfolio, credit, and customer performance trends to identify opportunities to improve unit economics, growth, and risk outcomes.Support capital markets initiatives and strategic transactions as neededStructure ambiguous, high-priority problems — form a clear point of view and drive execution through to resolutionSet strategic priorities: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and data analyses to inform strategic priorities for Tilt Mexico.Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve quality, reduce operational friction, and increase scalability across the Mexico businessDrive standardization and help to define best practices that can be shared across other business units (markets)Partner with functional leaders across Product, Credit, Marketing, Operations, and Capital Markets to identify bottlenecks, improve performance, launch new products, and drive execution against company goals.Identify opportunities to automate workflows, improve decision-making, and increase team leverage through AI and other technology-enabled solutions.Why You're a Great Fit4–6+ years of experience in strategic finance, business operations, management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or other analytically rigorous operating roles.Strong financial modeling skills: forecasting, scenario analysis, and ideally cohort/vintage-based credit modelingWell versed in customer unit economics including CAC, LTV, ROAS, and other relevant metricsProven ability to structure ambiguous problems and drive execution without a lot of hand-holdingComfortable moving between the details of a model and a leadership-level recommendation in the same meetingHands-on with analytics tools; SQL proficiency or a real commitment to developing it; familiarity with AI tools and genuine curiosity about applying them operationallyHigh ownership mentality and comfort with ambiguity; the ability to independently layout and test clear hypotheses, and solve problems without well-defined directionStrong business judgment and the ability to make decisions with imperfect information.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish including the ability to tailor messages to a variety of audiences and skill in explaining complex topics to non-technical peers and partnersDon’t meet every qualification?
