Responsibilities

Role Overview: - Proactive Marketing Operations and Executive Assistant to the founder of a growing portfolio of Amazon-led ecommerce brands. - Multiply the founder's marketing output by turning fast-moving ideas into prioritized plans, clear briefs, assigned work, completed campaigns, and measurable results. Success Metrics (First 90 Days): - Bring the founder a focused weekly marketing priority plan before being asked. - Turn verbal ideas and rough notes into useful briefs, projects, owners, deadlines, and deliverables. - Independently advance at least three meaningful marketing initiatives each week. - Meet at least 90% of your commitments and actively close open loops. - Identify blockers within 24 hours and bring recommended solutions, not open-ended problems. - Coordinate team members and freelancers so campaigns, listings, creative assets, content, and launches keep moving. - Reduce how often the founder must ask, “What happened with that?” - Protect the founder's focus by separating urgent priorities from worthwhile ideas that belong in the parking lot. Core Responsibilities: - Capture, filter, prioritize, and operationalize the founder's marketing ideas. - Convert rough concepts into campaign plans, creative briefs, research assignments, project boards, and next actions. - Coordinate ecommerce marketing work across Amazon, Shopify, email, social media, content, creative, catalog, and product launches. - Perform market, competitor, customer, keyword, offer, and creative research. - Draft first versions of briefs, campaigns, emails, landing-page copy, product positioning, and marketing plans using AI and sound judgment. - Assign work to the appropriate team member, confirm expectations, track deadlines, raise risks, and verify completion. - Maintain a clear marketing calendar, decision list, project dashboard, and idea parking lot. - Prepare concise founder updates: what is complete, what is next, what is blocked, and what requires a decision. - Improve workflows, templates, checklists, and systems when you see repeated friction. - Manage upward respectfully by recommending what should happen first and explaining why. Qualifications: - At least three years of experience in marketing operations, ecommerce, executive assistance, project management, or a comparable founder-facing role. - Ability to show multiple examples of important work initiated without being assigned. - Experience taking ambiguous goals from idea through completion. - Ability to make reasonable decisions within guardrails and know when founder approval is required. - Naturally investigate problems and present recommendations with options. - Clear communication in spoken and written English, with C1-level fluency preferred. - Organized enough to manage many moving parts without becoming passive or overwhelmed. - Effective use of AI tools for research, analysis, drafting, summarization, and workflow acceleration. - Proficiency with tools such as Slack, Trello, or other project-management platforms, Google Workspace, ChatGPT, Canva, and Loom. - Reliable internet, a professional remote workspace, and availability during the required U.S. Eastern Time overlap.
