Responsibilities
We’re looking for an experienced Google SecOps Engineering Lead to join our team. This is a remote opportunity currently, with flexibility to work from the office in the future.What We’re Looking ForStrong hands-on expertise in Google SecOps (SIEM & SOAR) with SME-level platform knowledgeExperience with UDM, YARA-L, detection engineering, and MITRE ATT&CKExpertise in designing SOAR automation and incident response playbooksStrong knowledge of GCP, especially Cloud Logging, BigQuery, and IAMProficiency in Python for security automation and custom integrationsExperience managing Google SecOps end-to-end, including architecture, integrations, customization, and delivery3+ years of formal people management / technical leadership experienceStrong stakeholder management and roadmap/delivery ownershipKnowledge of NIST CSF and other security/compliance frameworksGoogle Cloud Professional Security Engineer / Professional Security Operations Engineer (PSOE) certification is preferred🎯 Ideal Candidate: A hands-on security engineering leader who can combine deep Google SecOps expertise with people leadership, automation, architecture, and delivery management.
