This role will report directly to the Global Director of Crypto Operations.Things You Get To Do:Primary responsibility for the daily monitoring and surveillance of all customer activityPrimary responsibility for daily operational tasks including trading, new accounts, and cash management functions;Cryptocurrency trading executions and exceptions (errors, corrections, etc.)Assist with customer onboarding, including KYC and account approvalReview of general ledger accounts, identify and reconcile account discrepanciesSupport the Anti-Money Laundering Program and investigations that result from suspected suspicious activityProactively drive impactful changes across workflows, policies and toolsClearly communicate with internal and external partners in an effective, tactical, and insightful mannerAd hoc duties and projects as assignedGlobal remote location, core time around 9am to 5pm PT (working hours: 8 hours per day, holidays follow the US market holidays)Who You Are (Must-Haves):Excited about what Alpaca is building!!3+ years of relevant experience in a broker-dealer, financial services, trading or cryptocurrency operations roleBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceFamiliarity with cryptocurrency, or strong desire to learnWork effectively and supportively within a team environment as well as work independentlyStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentMust possess the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and regulatory environmentEnjoys challenges and taking ownership of new responsibilitiesInspired by Alpaca’s mission and enthusiastic about supporting our customer base and growing the platformWho You Might Be (Nice-to-Haves):Startup mindset for a fast paced, high growth environmentFamiliarity or interest in: FinTech, financial markets, cryptocurrencies, investing applicationsHow We Take Care of You:Competitive Salary & Stock OptionsHealth BenefitsNew Hire Home-Office Setup: One-time USD $500Monthly Stipend: USD $150 per month via a Brex Card
