Join our dynamic team as a GIS Fibre Design Engineer/Specialist, where you will be responsible for planning, designing, and managing fibre optic network projects using GIS technology. Your role will involve creating and maintaining fibre network designs, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards. Experience and proficiency with the '3GIS' software is highly preferred.
✅ Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain detailed GIS-based fibre optic network designs.
• Utilize '3GIS' software to create, analyze, and optimize fibre network plans.
• Conduct site surveys and collect accurate data to support network design.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
• Perform network capacity planning and feasibility analysis.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports related to fibre network design projects.
• Provide technical support and guidance to field teams during network deployment.
• Continuously update and manage GIS data to reflect changes in the network.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues as they arise.
✅ Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in fibre optic network design.
• Proficiency with '3GIS' software is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of GIS principles and technologies.
• Experience with other GIS software and tools (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work.
