Are you ready to take on the role of a Junior Purchasing Agent and assist our US-based client with supply chain management and purchasing objectives? You’ll play a crucial part in asset development for Hospitality and Multi-Family residential projects. Join us and help our clients reach their goals! You will get the chance to: Obtain FF&E quotations, warehousing, and installation bids for items as specified by the approved project budget. Negotiate price, lead-time, and payment terms. Obtain scoped/specified items within budget. Perform cost analysis, purchasing, and delivery of all products within an approved budget. Manage an effective project purchasing process to ensure that requirements are procured and delivered within required timelines. Effectively manage multiple complex projects with limited supervision. Process all requisitions and purchase orders. Process deposits, pro-forma invoices, and payments for Net 30 invoices by documenting FF&E receipts. Manage and issue weekly ‘Expediting Reports.’ Initiate change orders to purchase orders, generate purchase orders for property-level commitments as part of Capital Purchase Plans and other FF&E projects, as required. Coordinate shop drawings, submittals, and finish approvals with the designer and manufacturers. Handle and resolve vendor disputes. Coordinate buyout and deliveries with the Project Manager based on renovation/construction schedules. Responsible for project procurement management and budget closeout. Perform other duties as assigned. What you must bring to the table: BA or BS preferred. + 1 years of purchasing experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel – Spitfire a plus Strong oral and written communication skills required; presentation skills desirable Exceptional customer service skills and follow-through Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail required. Excellent proficiency in English (written and spoken). Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
