Job DescriptionOne of our clients, a startup political digital firm, is seeking an Opposition Researcher to help build and lead its research capabilities for high-profile federal and statewide races. This role is fully remote and ideal for a fast-moving researcher who can translate findings into actionable communications and digital opportunities.The Opposition Researcher will spearhead the opposition research function, supporting Senate, House, and Gubernatorial campaigns, PACs, and allied entities. This role requires strong research instincts, speed, and the ability to connect opposition findings to earned media, digital, and paid advertising efforts.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Leading the opposition research wing of a growing firm working with high-profile political clientsConducting deep-dive research on candidates, elected officials, and political figuresMonitoring media coverage and flagging key developments in real timeIdentifying opportunities to deploy research through social media, press pitches, or paid advertisingWriting scripts and developing concepts for viral digital and television ads based on research findingsResponding quickly to time-sensitive research and communications needs under tight deadlinesDesirable experience and qualifications:1 to 3 years of experience in political research or communicationsPrior experience on Capitol Hill, with a campaign, political committee, or advocacy organization preferredStrong familiarity with the current political, media, and news environmentAbility to work quickly and accurately under pressureComfort juggling multiple requests in fast-paced, deadline-driven settingsThis role is well suited for candidates who thrive in rapid-response environments and are interested in connecting opposition research directly to messaging and creative execution.Benefits:Health, dental, and vision insurance reimbursements401kComputer setup providedUnlimited PTOPerformance-based bonus structure
