Learn more about his story: HERE Your Role – Director of Business Operations You’ll work across - and improve - critical areas of the business, including: *Customer Success* - Build and scale the Customer Success division. - Lead customer onboarding, acting as the primary liaison between clients, Technology, and Compliance teams. - Manage and grow a book of clients, ensuring strong engagement, retention, and monthly revenue growth. - Identify opportunities to improve customer experience, processes, and outcomes. Finance & Operations Payment Operations - Ensure all payments are processed accurately and on time, minimizing errors and operational risk. - Implement AI-driven tools and workflows to reduce manual processes and reporting. - Review and approve internal payments in line with company controls and policies. Accounting & Financial Management - Coordinate with external accounting firms to manage quarterly financial reporting and tax compliance across Colombia, Mexico and USA. - Analyze bank statements and financial performance to ensure adherence to budget and financial targets. - Oversee Accounts Payable (A/P), ensuring vendors are billed accurately and preventing overcharges. - Oversee Accounts Receivable (A/R), including invoicing and timely collection of payments. Treasury - Actively manage treasury operations, moving funds to maximize monthly APY - Monitor and minimize FX exposure and losses across currencies. Strategy & Leadership - Support the CEO in all investor relations and fundraising activities. - Track and report on company and team KPIs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. - Manage sales commission structures and ongoing commission calculations. - Conduct market and competitive research, including conversations with customers and industry peers. - Act as a strategic thought partner to the CEO on company direction, priorities, and execution. - Manage and maintain key partnerships, including banks, vendors, and strategic service providers. Team & Role Structure - Initially manage a team of three focused on finance-related activities. - Over time, recruit and manage one intern to support additional operational and strategic initiatives. Work Model & Travel - Hybrid role: in-office presence required two days per week. - Travel required at least quarterly.
