Responsibilities

Bilingual Video Editor (Spanish/English) — Latin America only — Long-term partnership. We are LA ENFERMERA DULCE (LED), a bilingual diabetes education project led by nurse educator Lolis Rocha. We create encouraging, culturally appropriate diabetes education in Spanish + English for people living with diabetes and their families. WE ARE HIRING: 1 VIDEO EDITOR (LONG-TERM) This is not a one-time project. If the pilot is a strong fit, we expect ~15 packages over the next 2–3 months, with potential to expand to 100+ later. ***IF YOU ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR CONSISTENT WORK OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL MONTHS, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY.*** PAID PILOT (fixed price) We will start with one paid pilot package (to evaluate quality + communication). Pilot price: $100 USD fixed. INPUTS WE WILL PROVIDE • Raw video (1 English, 1 Spanish). • Visual assets (illustrations, graphs, etc.). • PDF of the related chapter from our book. OUTPUTS YOU WILL DELIVER (ONE COMPLETE PACKAGE) • 2 long videos (English + Spanish, 7–10 minutes each). • 6 shorts (3 English + 3 Spanish, vertical, 30–60 seconds). • 2 thumbnails (English + Spanish). • Subtitles (SRT files for long videos + appropriate on-screen text for shorts). NON-NEGOTIABLE: on-screen text and subtitles in both languages must be flawless. STYLE: encouraging, clear, professional education — no flashy effects; no background music. LOCATION REQUIREMENT: we will only consider candidates located in Latin America. Shortlisted candidates will receive our full workflow PDF and package details before the paid pilot begins.
