We’re hiring a full-time SEO Specialist focused on on-site and technical SEO optimization across multiple WordPress sites.
Focus: On-site SEO (e.g., keyword optimization, image alt texts, schemas) and technical SEO (e.g., sitemaps, site audits via Ahrefs and Screaming Frog), with hands-on WordPress management using RankMath.
Pay: $800–$1,200/month. Remote, 40 hours/week.
Who we’re looking for:
* Proven experience optimizing keywords, image alt texts, schemas, and sitemaps for better search visibility.
* Experience in fixing issues from Ahrefs Site Audits and Screaming Frog crawls, including resolving technical errors and improving site health scores.
* Strong proficiency in WordPress: navigating dashboards, managing multiple sites, and configuring plugins like RankMath for SEO best practices.
* BONUS: Familiarity with Glen Alsopp's Detailed SEO course or knowledge of Edward Sturm's Compact Keywords approach—ideal for advanced, data-driven strategies.
* Self-motivated and able to handle several sites independently.
* Very structured, organized, precise, and detail-oriented, with a keen eye for technical accuracy.
* Foundational skills in SEO tools and analytics, but exceptional attention to detail for audits, fixes, and optimizations.

What you'll do:
* Optimize individual articles one by one: Refine on-page elements like keywords, headings, meta tags, and internal links for maximum SEO impact.
* Improve overall site SEO health: Conduct and act on Ahrefs/Screaming Frog site audits, fix technical issues (e.g., broken links, duplicate content, crawl errors), and maintain sitemaps/schemas.
* Manage and enhance WordPress blogs: Set up/fix SEO configurations across multiple sites using RankMath, including plugin updates, theme tweaks, and performance monitoring.
