Job DescriptionThe purpose of this role is to foster deeper and more meaningful relationships with our shoulder surgeon customers to promote retention; facilitate greater communication with customers to prevent the occurrence of issues - and if issues do occur, work to resolve those challenges more effectively and efficiently; finally, this role should wholistically manage our consultant engagement activities and ensure that are in alignment with the business units needs assessment and strategic goals.This position reports to the shoulder business unit leader.ResponsibilitiesConsultant dashboard creation and maintenance.Initiate and manage consultant contracts, including renewals and updatesProspectively assign/propose work tasks that are in alignment with Business Unit’s Needs Assessments and strategic directionYearly reporting on key performance indicators and key initiatives to the SABEffectively align US and OUS consultant work product to more effectively utilize consultant expertise while more effectively utilize consultant time.Ensure that we are fully leveraging the expertise of our consultants on a global scale.Produce and oversee opportunities to disseminate consultant work product to multiple communication and educational avenuesAudiences to include: surgeons, field sales organization, healthcare systems, corporate marketing and clinical affairs.Be an ambassador for Advita – both with current customers and newly identified customers.Cultivate newly identified relationships with health care providersIntense focus on customer retention and conversionSpearhead communication efforts to address customer issues in an urgent manner ensuring resolution and customer satisfactionOversee a regular cadence of customer communication for multiple tiers/segments of customersPerform analytic assessments of the rate of return associated with our most significant medical education events.Manage consultant contract renewals.Collaboratively work with E&D and S&M team members to resolve customer relationship challengesKnowing and applying Advita’s Quality Management System and any appropriate federal and international standards.Assisting and supporting other employees, teams, and sales personnel as necessary.Skills Knowledge and ExpertiseEducation:Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from an accredited institution required; Master’s Degree preferredExperience:10+ years’ experience in orthopedic medical device sales and/or marketing10+ years’ experience in direct customer contact (health care providers)Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:Knowledge of global orthopedic marketAbility to interact with surgeons and sales personnelExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsValid Driver’s LicenseAcceptable driving recordAbility to travel 75% of timeAbout Advita OrthoAt Advita Ortho, everything we do is focused on innovation.
