Open Management is a property management company specializing in mobile home communities across the US. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality, affordable housing and exceptional service to our residents. We operate with a lean, high-performance team that values Extreme Ownership and Relentless Improvement. If you are a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, you belong here.
Our Core Values:
- Trust & Integrity: We do what’s right, even when no one is looking.
- Relentless Improvement: We are never satisfied with the status quo; we always find a better way.
- Extreme Ownership: We own our tasks from start to finish. We don't make excuses; we find solutions.
- Extreme Collaboration: We win as a team.
The Role: HR & Recruiting Engine:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, bilingual HR & Recruiting Assistant to support our HR Manager in a fast-paced, growing organization. This role plays a critical part in driving the recruitment process for on-site maintenance positions while also supporting onboarding, offboarding, payroll coordination, and general HR administration.
This is not a purely administrative position. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and confident managing multiple priorities at once. You should be comfortable conducting phone screens, assessing candidate fit, coordinating complex schedules, and following through without constant direction.
We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, communicates clearly, maintains strong attention to detail, and operates with urgency and professionalism. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy keeping processes moving efficiently, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Liaison: Partner with Hiring Manager to source, screen, and hire top-tier maintenance and on-site staff for our mobile home communities.
- High-Volume Phone Screening: Conduct initial bilingual phone interviews. You aren't just reading a script—you are vetting for technical skill, reliability, and cultural fit.
- ATS Mastery: Own the Applicant Tracking System. You will keep the pipeline organized, update candidate statuses in real-time, and ensure no great lead "goes cold."
- Bilingual Communication: Serve as a bridge between English and Spanish-speaking candidates and employees, ensuring all documentation and instructions are crystal clear.
- Critical Problem Solving: Manage the logistics of onboarding and interview scheduling. When a conflict arises, you solve it before it becomes a bottleneck.
- Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring seamless coordination across departments.
- Support timekeeping administration and process payroll adjustments as needed.
- Assist with ad hoc projects and initiatives to ensure smooth and efficient HR operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bilingual Fluency: Native or professional-level proficiency in both English and Spanish is required.
- Technical Proficiency: Previous experience working within an ATS (e.g., JazzHR, Indeed, Greenhouse) and a high level of digital literacy.
- Cognitive Agility: You are a quick learner with high "mental horsepower." You can process information rapidly and apply critical thinking to every task.
- Experience: 2+ years in an HR or Administrative role with direct experience in phone screening or recruiting support, preferably in property management or skilled trades.
