At Tech First, we’re looking for a Senior Business / QA Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders, product management, and engineering teams.This role combines business analysis, requirements gathering, manual QA, UAT, defect management, and product adoption. You’ll help translate business needs into clear requirements and ensure new features meet functional and quality standards before reaching users.What You’ll DoCollaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and identify opportunities for improvementElicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirementsCreate user stories in Jira and ensure requirements are traceable to objectives and test casesDefine functional test cases, execute manual testing, and document resultsPartner with QA Engineers to develop regression and performance testing strategiesIdentify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolutionParticipate in UAT and beta testing to validate functionality and user experienceWork with developers to reproduce issues and support resolutionProvide post-release troubleshooting, user guidance, and hypercare supportPartner with Product Owners to identify risks and define mitigation strategiesSupport change management, including training materials, communications, and user enablementWork within Scrum/Kanban teams to balance requirements, quality, and delivery timelinesWhat We’re Looking For8+ years of experience in Business Analysis and Quality Assurance rolesStrong experience working within Agile/Scrum/Kanban environmentsProven experience gathering and translating business requirements into user stories and test casesHands-on experience with manual functional testing, UAT, regression testing, and defect managementStrong understanding of software development and QA methodologiesExperience with Jira or similar toolsExcellent analytical skills and strong attention to detailStrong communication, collaboration, and negotiation skillsAbility to manage requirements and quality within project time constraintsFamiliarity with accounting and financial conceptsAbility to work effectively with business, product, QA, and engineering stakeholdersNice to HaveExperience with Playwright or other test automation toolsExperience supporting professional services organizationsBackground in sports, media, entertainment, or related industriesExperience with change management, training, or product adoptionPlease note: Only candidates located in Latin America will be taken into consideration for this role; candidates outside of this region will not be considered.
