Built by top-tier physicians, engineers, and designers, our medical practice and underlying technology have pioneered how people find and receive care.More about us can be found on our website.*** Applicants must reside in the United States of America.DESCRIPTIONWe are looking for Psychiatry board-certified MDs and DOs to serve as Supervising Physicians (SP’s) for our psychiatry-certified advanced practice practitioners (APPs) in Florida.SP’s collaborate mostly asynchronously with their assigned delegates to conduct patient chart reviews, delegate prescriptive authority, etc. Furthermore, the SP must fulfill any federal/state/payor-specific requirements as a supervisor such as attendance in monthly meetings, etc.The role requires confidence in clinical decision-making while adhering to evidence-based clinical guidelines. Our in-house electronic health record (EHR) makes documentation and chart review easy.Pay is based on the number of delegates the Psychiatrist supervises. Malpractice with tail is also provided. The number of hours dedicated to this role will vary based on the number of delegates assigned at any given time.Supervision will require a full, unrestricted DEA in FL and CA.A PC with Windows PRO or a Mac newer than 2019 is requiredEssential Functions & Responsibilities:Employ high-quality, independent medical judgment while overseeing the care provided by your delegates within our medical groupAgree to supervise a minimum of 4 Psychiatric NP’sBe comfortable with supervising care provided to all of our patients along our service lines. This includes a wide variety of typical primary care complaints, as well as a high volume of mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, and ADHDProvide constructive feedback to your delegates regarding patient care and chartingGuide your delegates on an as-needed basis if they have any clinical concerns or questionsVoice clinical or other professional concerns related to your delegates to Circle Medical Clinical Leadership on a case-by-case basis as they arisePerform clinical note reviews on at least 5% of your delegates’ clinical notes monthlyMeet with your delegates via video or telephone conferencing at least once monthly (can be a group meeting, does not need to be 1:1), more frequently if required by local state or other authorities, and SPs create a written record of the occurrence and attendance of the meetingsSupply prompt responses to credentialing and enrollment requests from Circle Medical administrationPerforms other related duties as assignedRequired Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong supervisory and leadership skillsBe comfortable learning and adapting to new technologiesQualifications & Experience:Graduation from an accredited MD/DO programBoard-Certified in Psychiatry & NeurologyTwo years post-residency practice experience is strongly preferred; 3-5+ years is idealIdeal candidates will have experience as a Psychiatrist in an outpatient, continuity-of-care clinical settingAlthough telemedicine experience is not required, it is preferred
