Responsibilities
🟢 Requirements:
• Demonstrated expertise with Websphere Commerce, xCommerce Composer, and widgets, and web user interface design.
• Web programming skills.
• Software architecture.
• Software development fundamentals.
• Object-oriented design (OOD).
• Software debugging.
• Strong technical leadership.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Atlassian tools including Jira, confluence, and Bitbucket in a fast-paced, agile scrum environment.
🟢 Responsibilities:
• Translate business requirements to design documents and develop end-to-end functionalities.
• Design and develop the product description page using commerce composer.
• Create new widgets and extend OOB widgets.
• Develop custom REST APIs for member and order modules to retrieve additional data required to display in the checkout and member pages.
• Deploy portal artifacts (Web applications, Pages using XML Access, and portal admin console).
• Maintain and enhance custom REST/SOAP web service calls to services for tax (CTE), shipping logistics (WSL), regulatory fees (WSR), and pricing (EZPRS).
• Work with Solr Search and customize IBM Commerce Search.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies.
• Experience with online order management and payment processing online.
• Experience in deploying the J2EE components (EAR/WAR/JAR) in IBM WAS 6.x/7.x/8.x using Application assembly tool (AAT), WAS admin console, shell/Jython scripting.
• Experience with WAS resources such as JMS, WLM, SIB, QCF Queues/Topics, JDBC, J2C.
