Requirements and responsibilities


We are seeking a Senior Android Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in native Android development, Kotlin, and test automation and a proven ability to design, build, test, deploy, and release high-quality Android applications. Responsibilities: - Design and build native Android applications for phones and tablets. - Participate in the full app life cycle including concept, design, build, deploy, test, and release to app stores. - Design and implement application updates with attention to performance and quality. - Collaborate with product and design teams to define features, prototypes, and estimates. - Identify potential problems, resolve bottlenecks, and fix bugs prior to release. - Ensure code quality, maintainability, and automation of the application. - Write and maintain documentation for features in development and drive best practices for continuous improvement. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering. - Typically, 5–7 years of professional experience in Android development. - Expertise with Android Studio and native Android development. - Proficient in Kotlin, Web Services, REST services, Core Java, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and XML. - Proficient with code versioning tools including Git and Bitbucket. - Knowledge of C-based libraries. - Familiarity with biometrics, push notifications, and Camera APIs. Preferred Skills: - Experience with continuous integration and unit testing. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment with strong communication skills. - Strong troubleshooting and issue resolution focus.
