About SimpleStudySimpleStudy is a consumer AI platform for students.We help them stay motivated to study their subjects - everything from Biology and Mathematics to Literature and Art.Our small team has already helped +1.5 M students worldwide (UK, Ireland, Brazil, South Africa, and Australia) study better, and ~40–50k new students join us every week.We're now building the product and design to launch and scale to more students over the next few months.RoleYou'll work directly with the founder to build and run the product function across both our consumer and schools (B2B) roadmap in many countries. You'll get real influence over both product direction and how the product function itself is structured.What you'll ownCore metrics: engagement, retention, and conversion, etc.Day-to-day partnership with engineering and design to scope, prioritise, and shipRoadmap process and structure for the product org as we scale past founder-led prioritisationProduct strategy and execution across multiple surfaces at once.Representing product thinking clearly to founders, engineers, and other stakeholders across both business lines.What we're looking for7+ years of product experience, including staff-level scope, ideally spanning early-stage to meaningful scale.A track record of owning product across multiple lines or surfaces simultaneously — genuinely comfortable moving between consumer and B2B contexts.Strong quantitative, data-driven decision-making — you can define and defend the metrics that matter, not just report on ones handed to youExperience working closely with engineering and design in a small, high-autonomy team — you scope and shipProduct sense paired with commercial judgment — able to weigh consumer growth priorities against B2B/schools priorities and make a callComfort defining process and roadmap structure from scratch in a fast-moving startup — this is a “build-the-plane” role, not just an “execute-the-plan” roleFluency with tools like Linear, Figma, PostHog, Mixpanel or equivalentExcellent written and verbal communication — you'll represent product thinking directly to founders and across two distinct business lines
