Requirements and responsibilities

Location: Remote (Mexico, highly preferred) Hours Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours per week) Time Zone: Aligned with North American business hours (Central Time Zone) About Company and Role Based in Dallas, Texas, the company is an established, premier commercial stone fabrication company with over two decades of experience delivering high-end custom surfaces. We partner with elite brands and major commercial projects across the United States—fabricating and installing premium tile, granite, and solid surfaces. Because our physical shop floor moves at a rapid pace, we are seeking a highly precise, remote CNC Programmer specializing in the stone industry. In this role, you will take complete ownership of our digital production pipeline. You will be responsible for translating high-precision field data into flawless cutting files, bridging the gap between raw 3D scans and physical machine manufacturing. Key Responsibilities CNC Machine Programming: Program and optimize four active CNC production machines using AlphaCAM, ensuring efficient toolpaths and precision cutting for natural stone and quartz fabrication. 3D Scan Processing: Download, manage, and process raw 3D site scans using D2 scanners and Horus software to generate accurate fabrication-ready files. CAD Layout & Nesting: Create, refine, and optimize CAD layouts and fabrication drawings. Strategically nest components on stone slabs to maximize material utilization and minimize waste. Production Planning: Prepare fabrication files and machining instructions that support efficient shop-floor execution and on-time project delivery. Material Management: Work with high-value natural stone and quartz slabs, maintaining exceptional accuracy to protect materials valued between $10,000 and $15,000 per slab. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Project Managers and the Shop Foreman through WhatsApp, Gmail, and internal communication platforms to provide updates, resolve issues, and maintain production schedules. Quality Control: Review layouts, dimensions, and machining programs to ensure accuracy before fabrication begins. Must-Have Qualifications Industry Experience: 3–5+ years of hands-on CNC programming, CAD layout, and fabrication experience within the natural stone, quartz, granite, or countertop manufacturing industry. AlphaCAM Expertise: Advanced proficiency with AlphaCAM for CNC programming, toolpath generation, and machine deployment. 3D Scanning Experience: Experience processing laser scans and converting field measurements into fabrication-ready layouts. CAD Proficiency: Strong experience creating detailed fabrication drawings, nesting layouts, and optimizing material usage. English Communication: Professional written and verbal English skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and project specifications. Independent Work Style: Highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can work autonomously, manage deadlines, and proactively solve problems in a remote environment. Nice-to-Have Qualifications Experience with Horus software, D2 scanners, or similar laser measurement and digital templating technologies. Experience programming multiple CNC machines simultaneously in a production environment. Familiarity with stone fabrication ERP, production management, or workflow software. Previous experience working remotely with U.S.-based manufacturing, construction, architectural, or subcontracting companies. Knowledge of countertop fabrication workflows, installation processes, and field measurement best practices.
