Responsibilities


• The Senior Supplier Performance Manager (SPM) is a key role within the Supplier Performance Management team. Is responsible for implementing and driving the success of the PDG Clinical Operations supplier management. • Drives the delivery of PDG clinical development portfolio through the identification, selection & management of service providers (may include full-service CROs, Labs, and Technical Service Providers). • Ensure and support effective relationship and collaboration between the different clinical operations business units and PD functions and their respective sourcing partners and ensure cross-fertilization of vendor knowledge and practices. • Listen to the needs of our customers and proactively identify/implement solutions to make work easier, have better compliance and/or accelerate trial execution. • Facilitate and execute governance activities and meetings, as applicable. • Proactively manage the ongoing relationships with key partners - to drive external provider performance excellence, develop best practice and inform future provider decisions. • Identify functional best practices and process improvements and coordinate their development and implementation for suppliers. • Provide outsourcing strategic direction and industry expertise to PDG leadership teams and study and country management staff related to vendor performance management strategy and industry trends. • Lead development and implementation of strategic supplier performance program in PDG; implement the governance model/framework and strategic sourcing optimization efforts. • Develops and implements supplier performance metrics/KPIs and oversees deliveries to ensure continuous improvement and compliance. • Partner with procurement to define and streamline the vendor landscape. • Leads process of contingency planning for outsourced service to minimize risk to the business and ensure activities are delivered. • Lead and contribute to departmental and cross-functional initiatives.
