Responsibilities

• You’ll work with Red Canary leadership to define and help realize our vision for open source projects, products, and programs. As an advocate for open source as a foundational component of an effective security community, you’ll identify opportunities to share what we know and what we do with the community, including Red Canary teams and customers, via open source platforms and educational content. You’ll lead your team and fellow Canaries in establishing new open source efforts, developing processes to make open sourcing everything from raw data to complete products efficient and effective. You’ll facilitate growth by understanding who is using our various open source products and how, identifying each product’s potential, and identifying the strategies and resources that Red Canary should apply in service of this growth. As open source projects evolve, you’ll build the cross-functional programs required to help them scale, from growing active users to building strong and diverse maintainer teams, turning users into contributors, and turning contributors into advocates. You’ll strive to better understand and serve the community by setting ambitious goals and taking a data-driven approach to measuring progress and knowing when those goals have been achieved.
