Requirements and responsibilities


Key Responsibilities: * Oversee end-to-end logistics activities, including inbound and outbound shipments, inventory control, warehousing, and distribution. * Develop and implement effective logistics processes and strategies to lower costs, shorten shipping times, and improve accuracy. * Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and fulfillment centers to maintain smooth operations and quickly resolve logistical challenges. * Monitor and manage inventory levels, accurately forecasting demand to prevent stockouts or excess inventory. * Negotiate agreements and terms with logistics partners and shipping carriers to secure optimal rates and service levels. * Analyze and present key logistics performance indicators, including delivery times, shipping costs, and inventory turnover, to support continuous improvement. * Ensure adherence to customs regulations, shipping rules, and international trade requirements. * Create contingency plans to address logistical disruptions or unexpected events. Qualifications: * Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Logistics Manager or in a similar capacity, specifically within Amazon FBA or Walmart Marketplace. * Experience using inventory management software or ERP systems. * Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, including Excel and Google Sheets. * Thorough understanding of logistics best practices, shipping operations, customs regulations, and international trade. * Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment and adjust quickly to shifting priorities. Nice to Haves: * Professional certification in logistics or supply chain management, such as APICS or CSCP. * Familiarity with warehouse management systems and third-party logistics providers.
