Our approach balances speed with quality, structure with flexibility, and partnership with accountability.Role OverviewAs a Recruiting Consultant on the HiveSmart team, you will act as a trusted talent partner to external clients, owning and managing the full-cycle recruiting process on their behalf. You will support roles across a range of functions and levels, partnering closely with client stakeholders to understand hiring needs, define search strategies, and deliver an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a consulting environment, is comfortable juggling multiple searches and stakeholders, and enjoys bringing clarity and structure to fast-moving hiring efforts.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Partnership & Stakeholder ManagementServe as the primary recruiting partner for assigned HiveSmart clientsBuild strong relationships with founders, executives, and hiring managersTranslate business goals into clear hiring strategies and role definitionsSet expectations around timelines, market conditions, and candidate profilesProvide regular updates, insights, and recommendations to clientsFull-Cycle Recruiting ExecutionOwn the end-to-end recruiting process from intake through offer acceptanceLead intake meetings to define role requirements, success criteria, and interview plansDevelop and execute sourcing strategies aligned to each client’s needsScreen, assess, and advance candidates through interview processesManage interview scheduling, feedback collection, and debriefsSupport offer development, negotiation, and closeSourcing & Talent StrategyProactively source candidates using a mix of outbound, inbound, and referral strategiesBuild and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needsTailor outreach and candidate messaging to reflect each client’s brand and value propositionAdvise clients on competitive positioning, compensation considerations, and market trendsProcess, Systems & Candidate ExperienceEnsure a smooth, professional, and inclusive candidate experience throughout the processMaintain accurate and timely documentation in ATS and client tracking systemsIdentify opportunities to improve recruiting workflows and interview practicesPartner with HiveSmart leadership to refine recruiting frameworks and best practicesMust-Have SkillsProven experience as a full-cycle recruiter, talent partner, or recruiting consultantStrong ability to manage multiple searches and stakeholders simultaneouslyExperience working directly with hiring managers and senior leadersComfort operating in ambiguous, fast-paced client environmentsStrong sourcing skills across technical and non-technical rolesExcellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skillsAbility to operate autonomously while staying aligned with a broader consulting teamPreferred SkillsExperience recruiting for startups, scale-ups, or high-growth companiesPrior experience in a consulting, agency, or fractional recruiting modelFamiliarity with modern ATS and sourcing toolsExperience hiring across multiple functions or business verticalsStrong understanding of inclusive hiring practicesWhat We OfferOpportunity to work closely with a diverse set of external clients and leadership teamsExposure to a variety of roles, industries, and hiring challengesFlexible, remote-first work environmentCollaborative consulting culture with room to shape processes and impact outcomesThe chance to build scalable hiring foundations for growing organizationsIf you’re a relationship-driven recruiter who enjoys partnering deeply with clients, bringing structure to complexity, and helping teams hire thoughtfully and effectively, HiveSmart is a great place to do that work.
