Role OverviewThe Video Editor Volunteer will work with raw footage from Freedom Challenge events and initiatives to create engaging video content for our YouTube channel and digital communications. Projects are assigned in collaboration with the Content & Brand Lead, who provides creative guidance and final approval to ensure alignment with our mission and brand.This is a fully remote, unpaid volunteer position that can be performed from any location.Freedom Challenge is a movement of passionate women dedicated to freeing oppressed and enslaved women and children worldwide. We pursue this mission through intentional prayer, physical challenges, and raising awareness and funds to disrupt the cycles of oppression and poverty that contribute to human trafficking.ResponsibilitiesReview and organize raw video footage to identify key interviews and momentsEdit videos for YouTube, social media, and marketing campaigns using Premiere Pro or similar toolsCreate short-form video content, including YouTube ShortsUpload videos to Freedom Challenge’s YouTube channel, including writing descriptions, tagging, and organizing playlistsSupport a consistent posting scheduleCollaborate with the Content & Brand Lead on creative direction and campaign needsEnsure all content aligns with Freedom Challenge’s mission and brand identityVolunteer Experience & Learning OpportunitiesHands-on experience supporting a faith-based nonprofit’s digital media effortsExposure to nonprofit communications, content planning, and collaborative workflowsOpportunities to practice creative video editing and storytelling in a real-world ministry contextExperience working with a mission-driven teamQualificationsExperience with video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Canva Video)Interest or background in media production, communications, or marketingStrong attention to detail and visual storytelling skillsFamiliarity with YouTube platform tools and short-form video formatsOrganized, self-motivated, and able to manage time independently in a remote settingWillingness to learn and collaborateAgreement with OM USA’s Statement of Faith
