sa.global is looking for a skilled D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Developer to join our dynamic Managed Services team in Canada. As a Managed Services D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Developer, you will deliver high-quality technical development, troubleshooting, and enhancements for D365 F&O environments, ensuring our clients receive reliable, efficient, and well-designed technical solutions.Areas of ResponsibilityProvide hands-on development, troubleshooting, and technical support for D365 Finance & Operations in response to client requests within Service Level Targets (SLTs)Collaborate closely with client stakeholders to enhance their use of D365 F&O, applying best practices in development and support deliveryProactively identify, analyse, and resolve technical issues and risks to minimise disruption for clientsCollaborate with team members as part of a global managed services divisionRecommend improvements to internal development standards, support methodologies, and technical processesContribute to the analysis, development, and implementation of opportunities for additional services or enhancements that can benefit clientsLiaise with Microsoft and ISV partners to address technical issues relevant to client environmentsCommit to ongoing professional development, pursuing relevant certifications where appropriateMaintain a professional and positive representation of the business in all interactionsTechnical ResponsibilitiesMonitoring of live support cases; ensuring clients are kept up to date regarding progress and recording all client related information on the relevant portalsPerform routine technical checks on applications and environments and report findings to senior members of the teamAssist with maintenance, development, and improvement of sa.global internal systems and client systemsDevelop customisations and extensions within D365 Finance & Operations using X++ and the extension frameworkDesign, develop, and deploy technical solutions including integrations, enhancements, and system improvements using relevant development tools and technologiesWork with data entities, APIs, and integration frameworks to enable data exchange between D365 F&O and other systemsConduct debugging and root cause analysis of technical issues within client environmentsConduct unit testing and debugging of developments to ensure they meet specified requirements and are free of defectsCreate and maintain technical documentation including technical design documents, code documentation, and deployment instructionsEnsure that all customisations and developments adhere to security, compliance, and performance standardsCollaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutionsSkills and ExperienceDemonstrated experience developing solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & OperationsStrong knowledge of X++ development and Dynamics 365 extension patternsExperience working with Azure DevOps for source control and development lifecycle managementExperience working with integrations, data entities, and APIs within the Dynamics ecosystemStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills in complex technical environmentsAbility to manage complex technical support scenarios within enterprise systemsAttention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality technical solutionsVersatile experience across different industries and client environmentsProven ability to analyse and solve complex problems with innovative solutionsSelf-directed and capable of managing multiple priorities effectivelyStrong client-facing communication skills and ability to remain composed under pressureStrong focus on client satisfaction and delivering a positive service experienceEducationBachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent professional qualificationsRelevant Microsoft certifications are preferred
