AHEAD is seeking a Principal Technical Consultant with a specialization in NVIDIA Networking technologies across modern data center, AI, and high-performance networking environments.This role requires deep hands-on technical knowledge and expertise in NVIDIA Ethernet and InfiniBand networking platforms, AI fabric design, data center architecture, and large-scale deployment and migration services. The ideal candidate brings strong consulting presence, excellent client communication skills, and the ability to design and implement resilient, scalable, and operationally sound networking solutions aligned to business outcomes.Roles & Responsibilities:Serve as a subject matter expert for NVIDIA Networking technologies, including Ethernet and InfiniBand-based data center and AI fabric solutionsPossess a strong understanding of NVIDIA Spectrum Ethernet switching, InfiniBand, Cumulus Linux, SONiC-related ecosystems, and modern data center networking architecturesParticipate in the design and deployment of complex solutions, create written deliverables, and conduct client workshopsCommunicate architecture strategy, implementation approach, and operational considerations in clear, concise, and understandable terms to client senior management and other stakeholdersImplement design architecture objectives that align with client business goals, application requirements, and operational needsProvide technical leadership for data center modernization, AI infrastructure networking, and high-performance network design initiativesDemonstrate strong knowledge of underlay and overlay networking, segmentation, routing, automation, and interoperability across multivendor environmentsPerform assessments, migrations, implementation services, validation testing, and operational readiness activities for client environmentsTroubleshoot complex networking issues and optimize performance, resiliency, and scalability across production and pre-production environmentsEnsure knowledge transfer to relevant client teams for smooth operation of deployed solutionsWork effectively across all levels of an organization, both internally and externallyWork both independently and in a collaborative team environmentDemonstrate the ability to deliver multiple client engagements on time and within scopeObtain and maintain certifications with associated qualificationsPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills:Minimum 7 years of data center networking experience in enterprise, service provider, cloud, or high-performance computing environmentsDeep hands-on technical knowledge and expertise in NVIDIA Networking solutions, including Spectrum Ethernet and InfiniBand deploymentsExperience designing and implementing networking for AI, GPU, HPC, or large-scale east-west traffic environmentsStrong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 data center networking, including EVPN, VXLAN, BGP, MLAG, and spine-leaf architecturesExperience with Cumulus Linux, network automation, configuration management, and infrastructure-as-code practicesFamiliarity with telemetry, observability, and operational tooling for performance monitoring and troubleshootingKnowledge of lossless Ethernet concepts, RoCE, congestion management, and low-latency network design principlesExperience integrating networking solutions with compute, storage, virtualization, and security architecturesStrong sense of ownership, problem-solving ability, urgency, and proactive approach to resolving technical challengesExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present to both technical and non-technical audiencesPassion for successful customer outcomes and delivering high-quality consulting servicesWhy AHEAD:Through our daily work and internal groups like Moving Women AHEAD and RISE AHEAD, we value and benefit from diversity of people, ideas, experience, and everything in between.We fuel growth by stacking our office with top-notch technologies in a multi-million-dollar lab, by encouraging cross department training and development, sponsoring certifications and credentials for continued learning.USA Employment Benefits include:Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k)Paid company holidaysPaid time offPaid parental and caregiver leavePlus more!
