Requirements and responsibilities

RemoteLegalStaff exists because there are incredibly talented legal professionals all over the world who've never had a shot at the U.S. legal market. We place and fully manage remote legal staff for U.S. law firms, hiring from Latin America, the Philippines, South Africa, and beyond. We're growing fast, and we don't just place people and disappear. We train them, manage them, go to bat for them, and help them build real careers. Our internal team is the engine behind all of it. You won't be a cog here. You'll be the reason someone on the other side of the world lands an opportunity that changes their trajectory.About the roleThis is a senior leadership role. You'll own marketing end-to-end. strategy, team, budget, and results, reporting directly to the founder. You'll lead a multi-disciplinary team: media buyers, SEO specialists, creatives, copywriters, and more. Your job is to set the bar across every channel, hold people accountable, and drive performance through the team you build. This is a performance marketing operation, and you need to be deeply data-driven. We measure in pipeline, CAC, LTV, ROAS, and payback period — not impressions, reach, or brand lift. Every decision you make — budget allocation, channel mix, creative direction, team performance — needs to be backed by data. You should live in dashboards, know your numbers cold, and be able to diagnose what's broken from the metrics alone. You don't need to be the best in the world at any single channel, but you do need fluency across all of them: paid media, SEO, content, lifecycle, and creative strategy. Your team will look to you to make the right calls when something breaks or a budget needs to shift. If your background is primarily brand, content, or PR, or if you rely on others to interpret the data for you, this isn't the role. Why this role?Real authority over people, budget, and strategy: no politics, no committeesDirect line to the founder; your work shapes the company directionMarketing is tied directly to revenue, so your impact is visible and measurableHigh-trust environment where strong operators get out of the weeds and leadWhat you'll ownMarketing strategy and performance across every channel: paid, SEO, content, lifecycle, creativeA multi-discipline team: hiring, managing, developing, and holding people accountable to the bar you setMarketing budget allocation and ROI across channelsFull ownership of marketing analytics, reporting, and KPI tracking: you'll set up the dashboards, define the metrics, and report performance to leadershipQuality control on creative, copy, and campaign strategy before launchAttribution, conversion tracking, and funnel hygiene across the marketing stackSystems and processes that make the team faster and sharper over timeTight alignment with sales to make sure marketing is driving real pipelineWhat we're looking forHave 5+ years managing full-time marketing professionals across multiple disciplines (not just freelancers or agencies, not just one channel)Have deep performance marketing experience: you've personally owned paid media P&L and know how the funnel works end-to-endAre fluent across the full marketing stack: paid, SEO, content, lifecycle, creative; enough to set direction, evaluate work, and coach specialists in each areaAre fluent in Google Analytics (GA4) and the core paid media platforms: Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn AdsCan build reports, set up tracking, and pull insights yourself, not just ask an analyst to do itRead campaign data fluently and can diagnose what's broken across any channel from the metrics aloneThink in pipeline, CAC, LTV, ROAS, and payback, not vanity metricsLead with directness: you give clear feedback and don't avoid hard conversationsThrive in a fast, high-accountability environment where the bar is high, and excuses don't flyRequirementsNear-native written and verbal English5+ years managing a full-time, multi-disciplinary marketing teamDemonstrated ownership of paid media P&L at a previous company (specify scale in your application)Working fluency across paid media, SEO, content, lifecycle, and creativeHands-on expertise in Google Analytics (GA4), Google Ads, and Meta Ads ManagerProven ability to build reporting and KPI frameworksExperience in reporting marketing performance to executive stakeholdersThis role isn't for you if...You've only managed freelancers or agencies, not full-time marketersYou've only led one channel (e.g., only paid, only SEO) and don't have working fluency across the othersYour background is primarily brand, content, or PRYou're not hands-on in the data — you rely on analysts or specialists to interpret metrics for youYou avoid difficult conversations with underperformersYou prefer corporate pace and processWhat we offerFully remote position with a flexible work scheduleCompetitive base salaryAnnual performance bonusAnniversary loyalty bonusesCompany-sponsored health insuranceGenerous PTO that increases with tenure (up to 30 days per year)Birthday PTO day7 U.S. paid holidays5 paid sick days per yearBereavement leaveAdditional unpaid personal leave availableHome office stipend for equipment and workspace upgradesComputer replacement stipendMonthly internet allowance (increases with tenure)Professional development and training programsEducation support for high performersA collaborative, supportive team culture where people are genuinely invested in each other's successA fast-moving environment where your work has real visibility and direct impactClear path to growth: we promote from within and reward people who performHow to apply?Hit Apply, and you'll be redirected to our application form.Follow all instructions carefullyHow our hiring process works:We are a fully remote company, and our hiring process reflects that.
