Requirements and responsibilities

We're looking for a CloudOps Consultant with strong expertise in Windows, Linux, and enterprise patch management to help manage, optimize, and continuously improve operating system patching processes across our enterprise environment.If you're passionate about automation, system reliability, and security compliance, we'd love to connect!Key ResponsibilitiesManage patching and updates across: Windows Server environmentsManage patching and updates across: Windows end-user devicesManage patching and updates across: Linux servers (primarily Ubuntu)Deploy security updates, critical patches, and feature updates.Monitor patch compliance and remediation status.Administer and optimize ManageEngine Endpoint Central (EPC) and Microsoft Intune.Improve patching processes through automation, scheduling, and reporting.Standardize patch management across Windows and Linux environments.Manage Ubuntu package updates using APT and implement enterprise patching best practices.Produce compliance reports and support vulnerability remediation.Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams to coordinate maintenance windows and incident response.Required SkillsStrong experience with Windows Server patching (WSUS, Intune, or equivalent).Hands-on experience managing Windows endpoints and Ubuntu/Linux servers.Expertise with: ManageEngine Endpoint Central (EPC)Expertise with: Microsoft Intune / Endpoint ManagerExperience with Linux package management (APT), repository management, and unattended upgrades.Scripting and automation using PowerShell and Bash/Shell scripting.Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and process improvement skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.If you're interested, or know someone who would be a great fit, we'd love to hear from you!Share your resume at: Saurabh.mishra@huemot.com
