Construction Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced, highly organized Construction Project Manager to manage multiple construction projects simultaneously and build repeatable systems that keep every project moving efficiently.
The ideal candidate can coordinate contractors, control budgets, negotiate labor pricing, manage material logistics, and work effectively with permitting offices. You must also be able to establish a reliable process for monitoring projects virtually, ensuring work meets quality standards, stays on schedule, and remains within budget.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage multiple projects from planning and permitting through construction and closeout.
* Create and implement standardized workflows, schedules, checklists, and reporting systems.
* Prepare and track budgets, review bids, negotiate labor pricing, and control project costs.
* Coordinate material purchasing, deliveries, and availability to prevent delays.
* Hire, coordinate, and hold contractors and subcontractors accountable for quality, deadlines, and agreed pricing.
* Work with permitting offices to coordinate applications, inspections, approvals, and required documentation.
* Establish virtual oversight using progress photos, videos, site reports, and scheduled check-ins, supported by on-site inspections when needed.
* Identify delays, quality issues, and budget overruns early and implement corrective action.
* Track change orders, verify completed work before recommending payment, and manage punch lists.
* Provide clear, consistent updates on project progress, costs, and outstanding issues.
Required Qualifications
* Proven experience managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
* Strong organizational, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
* Demonstrated success creating systems that improve construction management.
* Experience with budgeting, contractor coordination, material logistics, and permitting.
* Ability to read plans, understand scopes of work, and evaluate construction quality.
* Proficiency with construction management software, spreadsheets, and remote collaboration tools.
* A proactive approach and strong accountability for results.
