Avantor is seeking a Material Handler to expedite the movement of parts and material between production areas, prepare and coordinate schedules for pulling and delivering materials, and safely operate equipment required to move materials along the production floor. The successful candidate will work closely with dedicated people who share enthusiasm for innovation, excellence, and achievement. This is a full-time position with a sign-on bonus for 1st and 2nd shift. Responsibilities: - Expedite the movement of parts and material between production areas - Prepare and coordinate schedules for pulling and delivering materials - Safely operate equipment required to move materials along the production floor - Unload trucks, trailers, and containers of freight, counting products, and compare to manifest to check all shipments for damage, infestation, or production code dates - Compare quantity, labeling, and address with order to ensure out-going shipments are complete and correct - Maintain equipment in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion - Keep accurate records and reports - Assist in physical inventories and cycle counts - Ensure proper stock rotation - Provide strategy and project support as needed - Perform other duties as assigned
