As the Operations Supervisor at GOAT, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of GOAT’s local facility. The ideal candidate for this role is highly organized, detail oriented, analytical, and thrives in a fast paced, ever evolving dynamic start up environment. Strong decision-making skills will be critical for this role as the operational needs of the facility can fluctuate day-to-day.
Responsibilities:
- Promoting a strong safety culture and healthy work environment
- Lead, manage and cross-train a team associates and service providers
- Ensure best implementation in operations of inbound, inventory, verification, outbound, return, fulfillment and logistics
- Work with multiple departments to resolve potential delays and slippages
- Spearhead continuous improvements to increase efficiency, quality and reduce costs
- Engage in cost-benefit analyses, seeking to obtain best prices for materials and overseeing production methods to optimize output to peak efficiency levels
- Regularly monitor expenses, diminishing spend where possible if necessary to stay on budget
- Collect data and analyze trends and behaviors that will allow the organization to improve handling flow and customer experience
- Set the tone of the leadership team with a calm, positive, focused and forward motion leadership style in a high pressure, fast work environment with consistent changes
- Be knowledgeable of the company’s goals
