About the jobWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design, execute, and optimize testing strategies, while driving automation and continuous improvement in quality assurance processes.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement comprehensive test strategies and test plansDesign, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworksPerform manual testing for complex and high-priority featuresIdentify, document, and track software defects and ensure timely resolutionCollaborate with development, product, and design teams to ensure quality deliveryContinuously improve QA processes, tools, and methodologiesParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and reviewsConduct performance and load testing to ensure system stabilityMentor and guide junior QA team membersCandidate ProfileBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum 5+ years of experience in QA testing, including at least 2 years in a senior role.Skills & CompetenciesStrong experience in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java or PythonSolid understanding of manual testing methodologiesExperience working in Agile environmentsKnowledge of performance and load testing toolsFamiliarity with version control systems (Git)Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsPreferred Experience / SkillsExperience with CI/CD pipelinesKnowledge of API testing tools (Postman or similar)Exposure to security testing practicesFamiliarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Kubernetes)Experience in database testing (SQL / NoSQL)Ready to take your career to new heights?We're InTalent Asia, your go-to recruitment partner in Sri Lanka, and we have an exciting opportunity for you.
