What will you do?Reporting to the VP, Sales, develop and execute a sales plan to drive revenue growth and profitability for Axcend’s Focus LC product line of analytical instrumentation, consumables, and service products within the assigned territory.Promote a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) model that delivers full ROI quickly through solvent and waste savings.Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals within the assigned territory.Identify, develop, and close key opportunities within life science research areas.Develop, implement, and maintain account strategies and proposals to drive incremental growth.Network with key decision makers to strengthen relationships and uncover new opportunities.Partner with global biopharma clients to achieve sustainability goals by implementing eco-friendly, “Green HPLC” solutions that reduce hazardous waste by 99%.Submit accurate sales forecasts, weekly reports, and maintain up-to-date detailed account information (product, market, application, and sales cycle) through the CRM system.Monitor competitive activity and industry trends, and create competitive solutions.Present and discuss technology, applications, benefits, and value proposition.Identify and implement strategies to strengthen customer relationships using internal resources.Coordinate sales efforts with Field Application Scientist (FAS) and Service team for product demonstrations, sample workup, and post-sales support.Ensure success for all customers and key accounts.Attend trade shows, lunch & learns, user group meetings, and virtual events.Qualifications/RequirementsBS, MS, or PhD degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent work experience required.3+ years in life science capital equipment sales (HPLC/Mass Spec experience preferred).Experience selling specifically Biopharma, Drug Discovery, or PAT (Process Analytical Technology).Ability to effectively lead strategic collaboration with key stakeholders.Established network of contacts in the industry.Persistent, sales-driven, and goal-oriented with strong customer focus.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to develop contacts and build rapport at all levels.Experience successfully meeting/exceeding sales goals and executing sales territory plans.Must reside within the territory and be able to travel approximately 50%, including overnight travel.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, HubSpot/SFDC, or other related CRM sales funnel tools.Benefits & CultureCulture reflects core values: Do it with integrity; Bring passion; Be bold; Be respectful; Show humility; Take ownership; Have fun.Benefits include: Opportunity for equity ownership; Flexible PTO; 401K program; Family, medical, and caregiver leave; Excellent vision, dental, and health benefits.They value diversity and consider applicants based on merit, qualifications, competence, and talent, without discrimination.About AxcendAxcend is an early-stage company with demonstrated market traction, changing the Life Science industry with innovative High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) technology, including patented microflow liquid chromatography designed for compact portability, ease of operation, solvent/waste reduction, trace-level PAT inline process and sensitivity, and performance across markets such as life science biopharma, drug discovery, precision medicine, biotech, DoD, radiopharmaceutical, chem/petrochem, oil/gas, and academia.
