Requirements and responsibilities


The Regional Sales Executive (RSE) is responsible for the overall sales strategy in the specified sales territory (Midwest/West). The specified sales territory will include current customers as well as non-customers. While the RSE works collaboratively with other members of the territory team on customer relationships and upgrades, the primary role of the RSE is to grow new logo business. Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelops and executes sales strategies designed to achieve revenue goals and demonstrate consistent and predictable performancePrepares and presents quarter, half year and annual business plans to Sales Directors as requestedWorks collaboratively with Account Executive and Customer Success Managers in specified sales territory on customer retention, relationships and upgradesFollows up new business opportunitiesResponds to qualified RFP’s Demonstrates ability to build strong executive relationships and sell within traditional IT and non-IT business unitsPlans, prepares and coordinates all sales related activities from executive presentations to product demonstrationsMaintains a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty with prospects through-out and after the sale to ensure a successful implementation and maximum customer satisfactionManages complex sales situations and large projects, influencing prospects and customers and defuse potential problems by using your knowledge of complex business challenges to identify solutionsPrepares and delivers proposals and contracts with the ability to negotiate standard and non-standard T&CsRemains knowledgeable about Jenzabar’s products and services to facilitate sales efforts50% travel is anticipatedAbility to cover a Midwest/West territoryEducation and ExperienceBachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university OR the equivalent combination of education and experienceSubstantial experience in complex consultative software and services salesExperience in Higher Education preferred but not requiredRecent and sustained over-quota achievementDemonstrated career stability Basic understanding of contracts and terms & conditions Excellent presentation skills (to various audiences - executives & individual contributors)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other desktop applications.A passion for winningThe base salary pay range for this position is $70,000-$84,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, geographic location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for a substantial incentive plan as well as a full range of benefits.
