Approximately 85% of your time will be spent on high-volume, strategic cold calling to higher education institutions, with the remaining effort devoted to personalized email outreach and follow-up.We are specifically looking for a seasoned professional, someone with 4-6 years of outbound experience, who takes pride in the craft of prospecting, understands how to open doors with senior decision-makers, and enjoys the challenge of turning cold conversations into qualified opportunities.This role will work closely with the VP of Business Development and the sales and marketing teams.What You'll DoExecute high-volume, strategic outbound calling campaigns into higher education institutionsProspect into senior-level decision-makers including Provosts, CIOs, Vice Presidents, Deans, and DirectorsCraft personalized outreach strategies to break into complex institutionsGenerate qualified meetings and sales opportunities for Account ExecutivesMaintain disciplined CRM hygiene and activity trackingCollaborate closely with marketing and sales leadership to continuously improve conversion ratesWhat We're Looking ForMust-Haves4-6 years of outbound BDR / SDR experience, with proven track record of exceeding outbound prospecting targetsSignificant cold calling experience with confidence and credibility (this role is phone-forward)Experience selling into higher education or other complex B2B environments strongly preferredComfort prospecting into and has professional, confident communication with executive-level stakeholders and buyersConsistent attainment (or overachievement) of monthly qualified meeting targetsAbility to navigate complex institutional structuresNice-to-HavesExperience selling AI, analytics, or learning technologyExperience working in early-stage or high-growth companiesWorking at NectirWe're a startup, which means the work moves fast, but the impact is real.
