We are looking for a Project Manager with deep expertise in health data management and medical record retrieval who can also lead the end-to-end SDLC for the development and implementation of our next-generation record retrieval platform. This role blends healthcare operations, compliance, and agile software project management to create a secure, scalable solution for accessing patient medical data.DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Lead the full SDLC (requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance) for the new record retrieval platform.Gather and document business requirements from internal stakeholders, clients, and compliance teams.Oversee medical record retrieval operations during the transition to the new platform, ensuring continuity of service.Collaborate with engineering, QA, UX, and product management to deliver on-time, within scope, and on budget.Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and applicable interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7).Establish performance KPIs for both the platform and the retrieval process.Manage vendor relationships for any integrated EHR or API solutions.RequirementsQualifications – Required:5+ years in healthcare project management, with experience in platform development or large system implementations.Proven ability to manage both technical teams and healthcare operations staff with the ability to bridge technical architecture and operational requirements.PMP, CSM, or similar preferred.Experience with EHR integration, API-based health data exchange, and medical record workflows.Qualifications Preferred:Willingness to work US PST business hours (or with some overlap)Deep understanding of medical record workflows and interoperability standards.PMP or CAPM certification.RHIA, RHIT, or other AHIMA certification in health information management.Experience with medical coding (ICD, CPT, HCPCS) and interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR).Background in working with release-of-information (ROI) vendors or health data aggregation companies.
