Requirements and responsibilities

I am the CEO of a growing landscaping company in St. Louis, Missouri (USA) with about 55 team members. I am not looking for a certified executive coach with a proprietary framework. I am looking for a sharp, organized, fun-to-talk-to person who will meet with me on Zoom once a week and hold me accountable to what I said I would do. My Challenge: - I am an idea machine. - I start more initiatives than I finish. - I already know most of the answers. - I lack an outside voice who tracks my commitments, calls me out when I chase a shiny new project, and encourages me when I am doing the boring, important work. This Role is a Fit If You Like: - Structure. - Follow-through. - Telling a CEO the truth. What You'll Do: - Run a 45-minute Zoom with me every week using a fixed agenda: review last week's commitments, lock in this week's top 3, and ask me one hard question. - Own the system completely: you send the calendar invites, keep the running commitment log, and send me one short mid-week nudge. - I should never have to manage you. - Challenge me. When I bring you an exciting new idea, your first job is to ask whether it serves my stated 12-month priorities — not to cheer it on. - Finish each session with 10 minutes in Spanish. I am actively learning (Pimsleur + iTalki), and I want the accountability relationship to reinforce it. Who You Probably Are: - A native Spanish speaker in Latin America (Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Peru — anywhere with reasonable U.S. Central Time overlap) with excellent spoken English. - Someone with real business experience: former operator, manager, consultant, chief of staff, MBA, or yes, a coach — the background matters less than the judgment. - Naturally organized and consistent. You are the person whose spreadsheet is always updated. - Direct but warm. You can deliver “you didn't do what you said you'd do” and have it land as respect, not criticism. - Genuinely enjoyable in conversation. This is a weekly relationship — chemistry counts. What This Is Not: - Not therapy, not life coaching, not a certification showcase. - Not a role for someone who waits for direction. You drive the cadence. Logistics & Pay: - Approximately 1.5 hours/week total. Weekly Zoom at a fixed recurring time (U.S. Central mornings preferred). - $30–60 USD/hour depending on experience, paid monthly as an independent contractor. - Long-term relationship intended — I have worked with remote LatAm team members for years and my company has a six-person team in Belize. Process: - Short written application. - 20-minute video interview. - One paid trial session ($50). - 90-day engagement. - When I create a process, it is rarely fixed. Additional Information: - In transparency, Claude wrote most of what is above. - I am looking for a weekly coaching relationship with someone who is a native Spanish speaker and is comfortable with conflict and accountability. - Do you love to speak your mind? Let's chat.
