We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect with direct Salesforce company experience to lead the architecture and modernization of enterprise Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS) for a major State Government Early Childhood initiative.Required Skills & Experience:15+ years of overall IT experience with 9+ years of Salesforce platform experience.Must have prior work experience at Salesforce, Inc. or as a Salesforce Professional Services/Consulting Architect delivering enterprise Salesforce implementations.Strong expertise in Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS).Hands-on experience with Salesforce Lightning Experience, Experience Cloud, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Platform Events.Proven experience designing enterprise-scale Salesforce Solution Architecture, including application, integration, security, and data architecture.Experience with Azure Cloud, Azure Integration Services, API Management, REST APIs, OAuth, and SAML.Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications using MuleSoft, Boomi, or Azure Integration Services.Strong knowledge of Data Modeling, Master Data Management (MDM), Microservices, CI/CD, and DevOps.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and applying Human-Centered Design (HCD) principles.Public Sector or State Government project experience is highly preferred.Responsibilities:Lead the end-to-end architecture and design of Salesforce Public Sector Solutions.Drive solution architecture for Early Learning Scholarships (ELS), Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP), Provider Hub, Enrollment & Attendance, and Financial Management.Conduct discovery workshops and translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.Design secure API-first integrations with Azure, SWIFT, ELSA, MEC², MAXIS, and other enterprise systems.Develop enterprise data models, integration strategies, and technical roadmaps.Provide technical leadership to development teams and ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices.Ensure compliance with State security standards, NIST, FedRAMP, IRS Publication 1075, and enterprise governance policies.Required Certifications:Salesforce Certified System ArchitectSalesforce Certified Application ArchitectSalesforce Certified Platform App BuilderSalesforce Certified Platform Developer ICertifications:Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect ExpertTOGAF Enterprise ArchitectureSAFe Agilist (SA)PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)Preference will be given to candidates with direct Salesforce company experience (Salesforce, Inc.) along with enterprise Public Sector Solutions implementation expertise.
