About the CompanyWe are hiring for a US-based technology company operating two B2B digital platforms: a growing SaaS platform for managing communities, programmes and engagement, and an established B2B marketplace with more than a decade of market experience.With growing enterprise opportunities, we’re looking for a senior technical leader to own technology across both platforms and shape the next stage of growth.The RoleA hands-on Head of Engineering to provide technical leadership across two established platforms. Working directly with the CEO and product leadership, you’ll set technical direction, lead modernisation and build the engineering capability needed for the company’s next stage of growth.This is a high-autonomy role combining architecture, hands-on engineering and team leadership.What You’ll DoOwn technical architecture, standards and roadmap across both platforms.Assess and improve architecture, code, infrastructure, security and integrationsEstablish strong development, testing, deployment, observability and reliability practices.Lead the engineering team, including hiring, mentoring and team structure.Translate business priorities into practical technical solutions.Establish appropriate security, disaster recovery and operational practices.Evaluate technology and infrastructure for scalability, reliability and cost.Guide responsible use of AI-assisted development.What We’re Looking For10+ years of software engineering experience with significant technical leadership.Deep expertise in software architecture, modern web applications, cloud infrastructure, databases, APIs and production systems.Strong AWS or comparable cloud experience, including security, CI/CD, testing and observability.Proven experience improving existing platforms across architecture, reliability, security and scalability.Experience with platform modernisation and engineering team leadership.Strong technical judgement and ability to balance speed, quality, cost and scalability.Ability to translate business requirements into sound technical solutions.Comfortable working directly with a CEO in a lean, fast-moving environment.Excellent communication and business judgement.Enterprise/institutional customer experience is a plus.AI-assisted development experience is a strong advantage.If you enjoy solving hard problems, modernising real-world systems, building teams and staying close to the code, we’d like to hear from you.For queries: You can connect with us at recruitment@measuredmoves.in
