David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading B2B solution provider who are looking to recruit English and Spanish speaking Studio Operations Manager for their Gaming studios in Medellin, Colombia. Position: Studio Operations Manager. Location: Medellin, Colombia. Employment type: Full-time. Remuneration: Competitive salary. Duties and Responsibilities: - Lead the day-to-day operations of a 24/7 live streaming studio, ensuring uninterrupted service delivery. - Manage and oversee multiple management layers, including 3–4 managers and 200–300 employees. - Ensure operational performance meets SLAs, quality standards, and business objectives. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives across studio operations. - Oversee studio expansion projects, launches, and operational growth initiatives. - Coordinate project timelines, budgets, and delivery with cross-functional teams. - Lead, mentor, and develop managers and large operational teams. - Manage workforce planning, shift scheduling, and staff rotations to ensure optimal coverage. - Drive performance management through appraisals, coaching, performance plans, and corrective actions. - Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for studio operations. - Ensure consistent execution of operational processes across all shifts. - Foster a safe, secure, and productive working environment. - Ensure all studio equipment and technical infrastructure remain fully operational. - Coordinate with technical and network teams to resolve live operational issues quickly. - Identify root causes of technical incidents and implement long-term corrective actions. - Support operational readiness for new studio installations and expansions. - Monitor operational KPIs, SLA compliance, service quality, and error rates. - Identify operational risks and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and stability. - Prepare operational reports and present performance updates to senior leadership. - Drive quality assurance initiatives across all teams and shifts. - Maintain effective communication with clients, global management, and internal stakeholders. - Present operational updates, KPI reports, and improvement initiatives to senior leadership. - Collaborate with central operations, technical teams, and business stakeholders to support operational excellence. Requirements: - Native/fluent in Spanish (C2) and English, both oral and written. - Bachelor's degree or higher. - Proven experience managing operations with responsibility for 80+ employees across multiple teams or shifts. - Experience leading large-scale, 24/7 operational environments. - Previous experience within live casino studios (mandatory). - Strong operational leadership and people management skills. - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience analyzing operational KPIs and SLAs. - Experience managing performance, workforce planning, and operational processes. - Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills. - Experience using Power BI. - Experience using Jira. - Background in live streaming, broadcast, or production operations. - Experience within gaming, iGaming, or casino operations. - Experience in IT operations, networking, systems, or technical infrastructure.
