International Reporter at The Christian Post

- Non-denominational digital publication - Covers news and opinion about church, ministries and non-profits, human rights, education, public policies and politics, entertainment, and general current events. The Christian Post is seeking a dynamic, professional and motivated journalist to join our Dallas newsroom to report on news involving and affecting the Christian community from a biblical, Christian worldview. The International Reporter would be writing daily for CP’s online platform, which covers both national and international news. The ideal candidate should have attention to details, strong work ethics, be a team player, and have a passion for news. The responsibilities include monitoring news, generating story ideas, writing news, feature, and in-depth articles and reports, conducting interviews, and developing and maintaining contacts with newsmakers and news sources. The candidate should have at least three years' proven experience in news/magazine writing, preferably digital, and be based in Dallas, Texas (or Washington, D.C.). Responsibilities: - Monitoring news and generating story ideas - Writing news, feature, and in-depth articles and reports - Conducting interviews (both in-person and remotely) with people of interest to our audience - Developing and maintaining contacts with newsmakers and news sources - Covering national events (in person and remotely)
